We were privileged to host a night for members to network & socialise with fellow Chartered Accountants whilst experiencing the unique history and opulence of Soho’s finest Private Member’s Clubs – House of Saint Barnabas, Century Club & Blacks. Our exclusive Networking Night was a great success with many new connections being made.

On Thursday 9 May we were privileged to host Mark Tucker, Group Chairman of HSBC Holdings plc, at a special event for Chartered Accountants at London School of Economics.

On 12 February 2019 we joined ICAEW members at Mazars for a very interesting presentation from Neil Sinclair from London Digital Security Centre highlighting how prevalent cyber crime really is and the key tips to prevent it. It was a very informative presentation with many members reporting that they will implement much of the advice provided in managing their, and their business’s security.

On 6 February 2019 we arranged for a group of our members to attend the Lord’s Cricket Ground’s famous Long Room and network with the CEO of the MCC & the Australia-UK Chamber of Commerce. It was a great evening, with members enjoying networking whilst in the elegant atmosphere of the prestigious Long Room.

On Thursday 15 November 2018, we organised a table of our members at the Royal Flying Doctors Service (RFDS) 90th Anniversary Gala at Jumeirah Carlton Tower Knightsbridge London. It was a special night – and it was great to be able to do our (small) part to help raise funds towards vital care for people living in inland Australia.

We were proud to host as Emmanuel De George PhD, Associate Professor at London Business School, presented on Cryptocurrency & Initial Coin Offerings – Disclosures, Governance and Accounting.
Members also enjoyed networking drinks & canapes with fellow Chartered Accountants at EY’s event space overlooking the Thames.

Australian and New Zealand Accountants In London hosted John McFarlane, Chairman of Barclays Plc and former CEO of ANZ bank, at Bush House, Kings College, London.
John took part in a panel discussion, answered questions from our audience and then joined us for networking drinks at the venue.

The Cooks Society hosted this year’s summer reception on the terrace of Norton Rose Fullbright at More London Place.
We enjoyed excellent views of the city while networking with members of the Cooks Society and the Britain-Australia Society.
IFRS 15 + Networking at The National Liberal Club

We were proud to host EY Senior Manager Ginny Foley CA(ANZ) and EY Audit Partner Will Binns CA presented on the key impacts from IFRS 15 Revenue from Contracts with customers. Members also enjoyed post event networking drinks on the National Liberal Club terrace overlooking Whitehall Gardens and the river Thames.
